There's so much content out there on dementia, and so little time for caregivers to sift through it all. Let us break it down for you in a digestible way.
This course has:
- Fundamental education about what dementia is and its common causes.
- A walk-through of Embracing Their Reality™️ and Timeline Confusion™️, along with examples of real-world applications.
- Tips on how to handle challenging "behaviors."
- Guidance for making the move to dementia care
"I first started reading and listening to Rachael & Dementia By Day in 2015 when I first noticed my husband’s odd behavior. I think I owe my sanity to them. They taught me that my reality was not his reality.
For 2 months, we 'went home' every night. He would pack up the car, I would drive around for 5-10 minutes and then we would pull into the driveway and he was happy to be home! Their calm way of dealing with a new topic/challenge gave me hope that I would make it through this. I can’t thank this team enough. I feel as though they became my friends."
