TROUBLESHOOTING

Hi! Most Dementia By Day School issues can be solved by closing your browser and then opening it back up. More often than not, it’s an issue with the web browser (Safari, Google Chrome, etc.) and it just needs to be refreshed. If that doesn’t work, try logging in and out again.

A NOTE ON QUIZZES!

You have 5 tries to get to 100% on each quiz.

Please take your time, read carefully, and remember that you can look back in the lessons to find your answers. All the answers you need are in the lesson!

After 5 tries, my team will receive an email saying that you need your quiz to be reset. However, this may not happen immediately, so please, take your time when going through the quiz. If you need a reset during the weekend, recognize that you may not get that quiz reset until Monday.

Here are the most common questions I hear:

“It says 100% complete but I have not taken the course yet!”

Is there someone using the computer before you used it? Be sure to log out of their account.

“I have tried to log onto the training with the link you sent and all I have access to is the previews.”

Close out your browser, open it back up and trying logging in again. You probably arenlogged into the course, so you’re only seeing the previews.

“That didn’t work, it still says I have to pay or log in, but I thought I was logged in."

You are probably not actually logged in, or you aren’t enrolled in the right program. If you’re part of a senior living program, someone has already paid for the course. You need to use that login link OR enter the special coupon code.

“I don’t know why I had such a hard time with the quiz! I failed multiple times but can it get reset?”

Yes, I’ll reset it for you, but if you go back and look at the lesson, you’ll find that you have all the answers you need. You should also be able to tell which questions you’re getting wrong as you’re taking the quiz.

I’m stuck at a certain percentage and it won’t let me get past the screen.”

FIRST, make sure you’re clicking “Complete” in the top right hand corner and not trying to click through on the left side of the screen. If that doesn’t work, close out your browser, open it back up and trying logging in again. Is someone else logged in on the same computer? Ensure that you're using different browsers and not going through the course at the same time.

I’m still stuck at a section."

Have you watched the entire video? If so, temporarily disable any ad blocker extensions you may have installed to your browser. Since many issues can be caused by saved browsing data, you should try clearing your browser cache next. If this doesn't work, then we also recommend trying again while using a private (incognito) browser window.

“Still stuck!"

If you're still having issues, then it's important to make sure that your browser is up to date, running the most recent available version. So please try to update your browser next. If an updated browser doesn't resolve the issue, the next step is to try a different browser. We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Finally, please try using a different network connection.

Does one of these answer your question? If not, please email me directly at [email protected]
